Turkish shipyard Numarine has hired Orhun Senturk as its new sales and marketing director. Senturk (pictured) replaces Antonio Caviglia in the role. He has more than 17 years of experience in the marine industry and 20 in sales. He was previously the marketing and sales manager of Yamaha & Marine Vehicles. He is also secretary general of the Turkish Marine Industry Association.
Omer Malaz, chairman of Numarine, said: “It has been a great 2017 for Numarine worldwide, and thankfully our 2018 is looking even better. With the beginning of the new year we have some changes in our top management. “Mr Antonio Caviglia, who has been serving as sales and marketing director for the last two and half years, will be no longer with us. I would like to thank Antonio for the immense effort that he put together during his period. He shall always be a true Numarine friend. His place will be filled by Mr Orhun Senturk, who is a veteran of our industry and worked in a multinational operation for 20 years.”
In 2017 , the shipyard has delivered its first 32XP Explorer yacht to its owner and its second and third yachts were also sold within the year. It has also recorded eight of its 62Fly yacht deliveries so far.
